We had an enjoyable stay but faced several hiccups along the way. While the hotel offers a lovely atmosphere and the rooms are clean and comfortable, the dining experience, especially breakfast, left much to be desired. The staff were generally friendly and helpful, but there were moments where service felt rough around the edges. Overall, it was good value for the price, especially with the amenities available.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, particularly enjoying the spacious and clean room with a comfortable four-poster bed. The facilities, including the spa, were excellent, making it a great place to relax. Unfortunately, the ventilation was issues due to smoke coming from outside, which was quite distracting. While breakfast was fantastic, the dining experience during our event could have been much better, especially with the early entertainment choices.

The Penventon Park Hotel is a splendid retreat with a unique Georgian mansion charm set amidst serene grounds, ideal for families and couples alike. The rooms offer a lovely ambiance, though some may need updating. The staff is exceptionally friendly and makes the stay enjoyable. On the downside, certain rooms can be noisy and the dining experience had some inconsistencies. Overall, it provides a wonderful base to explore the beauty of Cornwall.

My room was delightful with a classy touch, but I did find it a bit quirky and somewhat wonky, causing everything to slide around a bit, including myself in bed. Despite that, it was cozy for the three-night stay. My family had a more spacious and modern room, which was really nice.
Service

The staff here were exceptionally friendly and willing to help at every step, making my stay feel special. Whether at check-in or during dining, everyone was eager to ensure I'm comfortable.
Location

The hotel is perfectly located to explore various parts of Cornwall, making it easy to reach beautiful destinations. While the immediate area was a bit noisy due to nearby activities, it didn't detract much from the overall experience.
Dining

Dining was generally good with a fantastic menu, especially the pork belly! However, I did find that some dishes didn't match the high expectations set by the hotel's reputation. A bit more freshness in the breakfast selection could enhance the experience.
Facilities

The leisure facilities were a highlight, particularly the pool and jacuzzi which were both relaxing and well-maintained.

Our stay was incredibly pleasant! We loved the spacious room with a lovely garden terrace, and the overall ambiance was special and relaxing. The breakfast was decent, but there is room for improvement, particularly with a few more fresh fruit options. While the hotel amenities were enjoyable, the location wasn't the best for exploring the area, so having a car is definitely a must.
